Kelcourse a tremendous asset as representative

To the editor:

I am writing this letter to publicly thank my state representative, Jim Kelcourse, for his help last month with a very difficult situation. I was in the process of buying Gould Insurance and had to have a new corporate insurance license issued from the State of Massachusetts, Division of Insurance. My application has been filed with them in May in anticipation of the 7/1/16 date of purchase.

It was 6/24/16 and the application still had not been approved. I was told that they were very busy and doubted that I would have my license in time for the purchase. Needless to say, I was very upset.

I called Jim that Friday and told him of my situation. Unknown to me, he was vacationing in Texas; he told me he would get right on it. My cellphone rang 45 minutes later; it was the Division of Insurance telling me my application was approved and would be in the mail on Monday.

I know anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting with Jim understands he is a tremendous asset to our communities. No one works harder that Jim to be sure we are fully represented in Boston and without his help, the purchase of Gould Insurance would have been held up for an uncertain amount of time.

Be sure to remember Jim Kelcourse at election time, you will never get a better representation than him.
